Heating System: Quartz, 16 Zones

Machine logic runs on a GMT PLC paired with proprietary control software. The operator interface is a 7-inch Flexem color capacitive touchscreen mounted on a swing arm — positioning the display close to the forming zone where the operator is actually standing during a cycle.

From the HMI the operator sets and monitors heating zone temperatures, platen travel position, vacuum timing, cooling fan duration, and cycle counts. The swing arm matters in production: when you're loading 400 kg of mold and feeding 5 mm ABS sheet, having the screen fixed to a panel three meters away is a workflow problem, not a minor inconvenience.

The control software stores cycle programs by part — once you've dialed in the forming parameters for a specific mold and material combination, you call the program and run. No manual re-entry of settings between shifts.
